I liked the comment by WSJ when they said - "..the car costs the same as a DVD player option with your Lexus.."I am not sure how much of an impact would this make internationally but it would certainly redefine some of the rules of the industry!
Definitely it'll have an impact on the auto industry. It'll eat into the market share of other manufacturers; esp 2 wheel segment and used-car market.
