I'd come across Golden Rules of Career Success by Richard Moron during Infy days.
I had taken a printout and put up at my desk in Infosys. I did the same during my 1st week at VMware as well :)
With the recent financial turmoil happening in Wall Street those rules seem to make much more sense.
Esp "Job security does not exist. Always have an answer to the question, “What would I do if I lost my job tomorrow?""
